Bruce co-writes new horror film 'Chemical Wedding'
Wednesday 12th March 2008
Named after one of his early solo albums, Bruce Dickinson today announced that his motion picture writing debut will premiere at the Cannes Festival. 'Chemical Wedding' is a horror film based on the actions of Aleister Crowley and has been co-written as well as directed by Julian Doyle (you may know him for producing the Can I Play With Madness video.
Ed Force One, the 747 belonging to Iron Maiden, will be carrying guests to the premiere although it is unknown at this time whether any tickets on the flight or to the premiere will be made available to fans at any point before the showing.
The film is reported to be getting a UK cinema release in Summer and will no doubt be released on DVD or even online download worldwide so keep your eyes peeled in the near future. In terms of what Bruce is up to next, he has no plans for a new solo album after 'Tyranny of Souls' came out 3 years ago now, although there may be some work of his on the soundtrack to this new motion picture.
