Vocalist Mick Jagger was found guilty of illegal possession of pep pills and was sentenced to three months in jail.

2008 - Spain wins the U.E.F.A. European Championship for the 2nd time after defeating 3-time champions Germany 1-0 in the Final in Vienna, the Austrian capital.
