Got a Question.
T'm trying to download a rar file. But I don't really know what it is.
Any Help?????

.rar is a compresion file similar to the better know .zip that is now included in windows.
Extract Now is a free programme that will open the .rar archive.

| how can I know if the .rar file is a video or an audio file? I'm downloading a gig in Norway 1981, but I don't know if it is a video or an audio file. Its size is 91.66 Mb. |

If its size is only 90 something MB then its most likely a audio mp3 album. Videos are usually several hundred mb's.
There's another program you can use to unpack a rar file, its called Win RAR, and it works for packing and unpacking files like that. you could probably find a version of it at http://www.cnet.com its probably a trail version, but its something at least. :-)
