yeah the riff EEEGEEEEEGEEEEEGEE on the A string, the fast main riff, how does Maiden or anyone play it? I've heard it's purley Upstrokes on the string but I find this incredibly tiering. Or is it using up and downstrokes on the string? I'm sure a guitarist will know what I am on about.  |

I don't: I play it on bass. And not very well either It's their toughest song in my opinion. When I master Phantom... I will then consider myself a compentant bass player. |

I havent seen the tab, but if it's fast, try alternate picking (down up down up etc.)  |

Yup... Pretty impossible to do without alternative picking (Or is it called alternate picking? Bah...)
BTW, maybe you should try to play the E and G part on the D-string (Note 2 and 5)... Seems easier for me. |
