I have one. It wasn't very expensive but it does for what I want it for. However I don't have a mic, and I don't know how to transfer from a Mini-Disc to PC (if that is possible)
Anyway the one I own is a SHARP one that cost around £120 |

http://www.minidisc.org is a good place to start when looking for Minidisc recorders. I honestly wouldn't get a cheap recorder if your going to bootleg shows, however you can't always get the best.
http://www.soundprofessionals.com has a lot of mic's specifically for bootlegers. I would get a Stereo Carnoid mic and a battery module so you can have a preamp to run through linein rather then mic in. It will give you a better chance of not getting distortion. |
