Since the site is growing with fans from all across the world, we'd be really interested in pulling together some translations of our content & dc hub pages so that more people can get involved.
Its pretty simple to do, simply take a page on the site, copy all its text into notepad, translate it into your native language and e-mail to admin AT maiden-world DOT com.
Its a small piece of work if you're bilingual, but your time could mean that hundreds of users from your country can get online and find information |

Yeah any page.
Key things would be like the DC Hub page: http://www.maiden-world.com/dchub.html or the Index page http://www.maiden-world.com/. You could do the articles too (if you want a challenge ;D): http://www.maiden-world.com/articles.html
Also the text for the Tabs, Lyrics and Bootleg databases where it has fields like "date" or "title" would need done into each language (not the actual boot info though, that would be too much).
Basically anything you see in english on the site is yours to translate if you want |

Thinking about it some more, is it really neccessary to translate the site to a million languages? I mean English is a international language and practically everybody knows some English.
It just sounds like too much work for nothing to translate the site |

Theres a lot of language-specific websites and forums out there for maiden, and a large number of them have the same problems that Maiden World set out to fix with the existing english sites.
I understand about it being a lot of work, and I'd never expect anyone to do it, but its something that would be nice to invite not just english users. |

Okay. I'll see what I can do. I have the night of and tomorrow off, so I might translate parts of the site into Norwegian (if that is desirable) |

Plaintext would be even easier.. just in Notepad or something. (although .doc is fine.)
Dont bother with the HTML, its all different on the site's backend anyway and I can deal with the formatting. |
