McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh says the rules need to be amended to
prevent the kind of incidents that saw his drivers Heikki Kovalainen and
Lewis Hamilton penalised for blocking other drivers at the end of Sepang
qualifying.
The two McLarens were demoted five places on the grid for forcing Nick
Heidfeld and Fernando Alonso to dodge around them while driving slowly
on their in-laps to save fuel.
It has been suggested that a rule should be imposed to force drivers to
maintain speed while returning to the pits, and Whitmarsh agreed that a
regulation tweak would be wise.

Surely if the stewards even think he may have they can check the telemetry........
He had no reason to slow there wasnt anything in front of him.......
If anything he should have been pulling away as he should be on the power first |

No not bitter, they were crap I would really like to know if Alonso did cause that though....but that had nothing to do with Hammys shit start. And this race was more exciting than the last one, the last one was dull
Today wasn't a good day to be a brit in an F1 car, all lined up at the back, how embarrassing |
