According to ElTiempo.com, seven people were injured in riots that took place during IRON MAIDEN's concert last Thursday ( February 28 ) in Bogota, Colombia. An estimated three thousand uniformed personnel were responsible for providing security at the concert, where such illegal items as knives, drugs, liquor were seized. No serious injuries were reported, but 480 people are said to have sought treatment for headaches, and other health conditions related to substance abuse (drugs and alcohol).

More than 42,000 fans from Colombia, Panama, Ecuador and Venezuela attended the show, which was part of IRON MAIDEN's "Somewhere Back In Time - World Tour 08".

Although your piece reports that the movie may not get a UK cinema release, 'Rolling stone' are reporting a summer theatre run. Wink

Chemical Wedding, a horror film co-written by Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson, is set to debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May, with a theatrical run in the U.K. to follow in the summer.
