Lots of favourites, but usually listen to an album at a time rather than individual tracks
However the one I dig out on its own from time to time is The Sheriff of Huddersfield |

| Deja Vu, The Lonliness of the Long Distance Runner, and Caught Somewhere In Time frequently claim that title. |

My favourite Maiden song is a contest between:
-Number Of The Beast
-Hallowed Be Thy Name
-Fear Of The Dark (especially the 'rock in rio' version )
It really changes daily between those three...... |

Ive always thought Hallowed be thy name followed by Aces high, 2 minutes to midnight, The number of the beast, Waysted years, can i play with madnessand and the trooper. But the Trooper has lost a bit for me in the absence of a real refrain. The refrain is oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.
Runners up: Die with your boots on, Ghost of the navigator, Lord of the flies, Prodigal son. And after being influenced by the other opinions on this matter i agree that Blood brothers is a candidate too.
Ok amigos now I have to think about the refrain bye bye |
