Neil Young has to be discover by everybody in here
all the people believe that he's just a folk singer but he's just the biggest rocker ever. He crossed all the generations and he's always here. his last album is really rock and Neil inspired a lot of generations of musicians.
Albums to listen in priority :
Rust never sleeps (a masterpiece)
Ragged glory (big rock and heavy guitars)
Zuma (with the masterpiece 'cortez the killer')
he's the musician that i listen to the most often after maiden |

i recommend to all the ppl to listen to an english band called Pure Reason Revolution 'the dark third' just available for few weeks !!!! the best album and new band i enjoyed for years and years
it's symphonic, progressive, marvellous two voices (a man and a woman), some heavy guitars and breaks everywhere, a sensationnal sense of the melody and big arrangements
they are from London and it's their second album (i don't know their first one yet )
listen to them please and you'll tell me |

Megadeth's follow up to 'The System has failed' Will be released soon after. The (as yet untitled) album was recorded at SARM studios England, at about the same time Maiden were recording 'A Matter of Life and Death'.
Wouldn't that have been a blinding excuse for 'the-mother-of-all Jam sessions
Check out Crystal Pistol. Trust me, they sound waaaaay better than they look. Their Debut album is available now, Online and(if you live in Canada) from HMV.
One of Sixxy's top bands at the moment and a mainstay on the cd player at home. Nice Dirty Rock n' Fuckin' Roll!
Another band worth checking are the 'Red Star Rebels' Another great sleazy rock band. Couple of good EP's out at the moment, prone to being a little hit and miss live though. But when they are on, they are ON. got it?

to all those who like Motörhead, they absolutely must listen to Chrome Disvision, the side project of Sagrath, singer of Dimmu Borgir. It's only rock'n'roll

Avenged Sevenfold
i dont noe if ne of u guys are already fans of these guys, but i just have to say that they're amazing. its great listening 2 them and i just want u guys 2 have a taste of them. sure they may be kinda "emo" or whatever, but honestly wtf is emo? it doesnt matter what they are, if they sound great, thats all that matters. they sound amazing. they kind of remind me of maiden in a way because they rock hard and brian hanes (sinister gates/ lead guitarist) reminds me of dave murray. a great guy, noes his stuff, and a very melodic lead guitarist. his solos are amazing, plus he sweeps!!! believe it or not many famous bands' guitarists can do that. i just thought i'd promote these guys and let u see why i like them soo much. if u wanna hear a bit of what they got i suggest 2 songs 2 u. "i won't see you tonight part 1" and " beast and the harlot". soo... go 4 it, check 'em out. see how great they are!! ... oops i almost forgot. reply on what u think. |
