I looked at vbulletin.. the reason its "neater" is because it doesnt ALLOW nested quotes. (it also wastes space with 2 lines, Quote: and another line for "Originally posted by X").
I think i'd prefer the ability to use nested quotes, so I tweaked the width and font sizes around them to make them a bit more usable. |

Because if I put the vBB style on the same problem will occur.
The quotes will get smaller and smaller as they are deeper quoted.. and we cant limit quoting to one level because it will break the 2900+ posts already here.
So there really are no (sensible) options in this situation except to leave it how it is and adjust the styling a bit, which has already been done. |
