Here I am, in a downtown Toronto hotel, suffering the ill effects of an hermetically sealed hotel room when both the air and the temperature outside are perfect for camping under the stars! Not that you're likely to find me camping anywhere when there's a hotel within fifty miles - we don't camp! I'm here to check out the line edits of the Iron Maiden movie (specifically the perfomance aspects) which is being edited and assembled here, so last night we got together to listen to the audio and see the edit thus far. They're a good bunch of lads and lasses, but I must confess to it being a little early in the process for me to be here, or they're running a bit behind, as it's not quite where it should be but I'll certainly help out where I can, and so it's off to the studio soon, to fix up sync and shot issues before anyone gets to see the rough cut.

Vodaphone Live
Published: August 6, 2008

You may have read in the last couple of days that Maiden have been nominated for the Best Live Return Award in the Vodaphone Live Awards.

However please don't go looking to cast your votes for us. As we are not quite sure where we are returning from, we have asked them to remove us from the nominations and they have done this.

Very flattering though, they must have enjoyed Twickenham!!

I know Sad Let's hope that they somehow recover it. I would hate for such an epic guitar to be lost or broken.
